Top officials in Bhatkal transferred

08 September 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Officials of the rank of AC, Tahsildar, PSI, and Municipality Chief in Bhatkal have been transferred recently and new officials have been appointed in their place. As per fresh information, VRP Manohar, who served Bhatkal for many years as Assistant Commissioner has been transferred as Chief Secretary of Zilla Panchayat in Karwar. Korama Rao, IAS and IPS officer from Vishakapatnam will replace him. Apart from him, G M Borkar has been appointed as the new Tahsildar. Previously, he was serving as Deputy Tahsildar of Bhatkal. Prakash Devadiga, who served as police sub-inspector in Bhatkal Police Station has been transferred to Mangalore and in his place Sobna of Putur has been appointed. Anupama, who served as Municipality Chief has been transferred to Bangalore. Mohammed Rafeeq, Revenue Officer from Bellary will serve as the new Municipality Chief of Bhatkal.
