TMC to install CCTVs at 26 locations in Bhatkal

24 Jan, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a move that will bolster the security arrangements in Bhatkal, the Bhatkal Town Municipal Corporation has decided to install CCTV cameras at 26 crucial locations in Bhatkal out of which some have already been installed. Elaborating more on the arrangements, Bhatkal Tahlidar said that a company called Moriya Infotech Private Limited of Bengaluru has been awarded the project and will maintain the cameras for two years. The CCTV cameras also support decent low-light picture capturing capabilities. It is expected that the images will provide crucial links to solve theft cases and also aid in controlling criminal activities in the town. - ARF
