Three tourist saved while drowning at Murdeshwar beach, one dead

Murdeshwar 28 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A 18-year-old youth died after drowning at Murdeshwar as a high tide washed the youngster into the water and soon he disappeared on July 28. The deceased has been identified as Kiran Kumar, a resident of Bengaluru. According to the sources a family of nine had come to Murdeshwar for picnicking when the incident took place. Four members of the family went into the waters for swimming and all of a sudden a huge tide washed away all the four members into the waters, other tourists and lifeguards saved three of them while Kiran could not be rescued after several attempts and he soon disappeared into the waters. Operation for searching his body is underway. While a case has been registered at Murdeshwar police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Fristen Dias)
