Three killed in 'selfie' madness near waterfall in Siddapur

Siddapur, 9 March 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Three students visiting Siddapur Taluka drowned in a freak accident in Burude falls on Saturday. The victims have been identified as Abhishek Naik of Siddapur, Murali of Sirsi and Sai of Kerala. All three were students of Ayurveda at a college in Siddapur. According to sources, the trio allegedly slipped from a hilly slope while taking a selfie and drowned thereafter. Local police rushed to the spot after residents complained. The bodies were later pulled out with the help of expert swimmers. A case has been registered at Siddapur police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
