Three clinics sealed in Bhatkal during crackdown on unauthorised medical practice

Bhatkal, April 8: Authorities carried out a major crackdown on illegal medical activities in Bhatkal and sealed three clinics found operating without proper authorisation.

The action was taken based on public complaints and specific inputs, officials said.

During the inspection, several individuals were found treating patients without valid medical degrees or licences. The officials immediately shut down the clinics, sealed the premises and issued notices. Legal action has also been initiated against those responsible.

Authorities stated that any compromise with public health will not be tolerated and warned that strict action will continue against unqualified practitioners.

In one such case, a clinic located in Madina Colony was also sealed for providing medical services without authorisation.
