Three arrested in two different cases of gambling in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 19 September 2019: Bhatkal Town Police on Wednesday in two separate cases arrested three men allegedly playing Matka Gambling game here in Bhatkal town. Police arrested Narayan Naik (33), a resident of Kargadde, while he was allegedly playing Makta gambling at his pan shop near Jali cross. The police also seized Rs.950/- from him. In another case, police detained Ramachandra Naik (41) and Shankar Naik (40), while they were allegedly playing the same 0game in a pan shop near Maruthi Printing press of Bhatkal. The police also seized Rs.1250/- during the raid. Two seperate cases in this regard have been register at Bhatkal Town Police Station.
