Three arrested for selling cannabis on Bhatkal Sagar Road

Bhatkal: September 17, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Three persons have been arrested for selling cannabis (ganja) and 750 grams of cannabis have been seized from them after a police raid at Ketre Cross on Bhatkal Sagar Road this morning. Three mobile phones, a scooter and Rs 2,700 cash were also seized from them. According to reports, these three persons were selling cannabis illegally at Ketre Cross on Sagar Road at 10:30 am this morning. After receiving a tip-off, the police arrested them and took them into custody. They have been identified as Ganpati Naik of Honnavar, Janardhan Hari Kant of Murudeshwar and Anand Madhav Moger of Karikal area in Bhatkal. A case has been registered in this regard at Bhatkal Rural Police Station.
