Thousands gather to support Majlis Islah Wa Tanzeem’s protest against Mob lynching

Bhatkal 6 July 2019:( Bhatkallys News Bureau) In a bid to express dissent and protest against Mob lynching incidents targeting minority and venerable section of the society Majlis-e-islah wa Tanzeem on Friday took out a massive protest here in Bhatkal on Friday, July 5.
Thousands of people thronged into the rally that began from Eidgah ground towards public chabutra at old bus stand holding banners and placards criticizing the mob lynching in the country.
Addressing the protestors, Moulana Abdul Aleem said, "This is a secular nation and people need to live in peace and with religious harmony. Communalism can disrupt the development of country."
Social worker Mohammed Idris Udupi also spoke on the occasion and said, "Promoting communal hatred can only lead to such mob lynching incidents and it was mockery of the constitution that those wanting to change the Constitution are taking oath on its name".
Former Tanzeem General Secretary, Haneef Shabab also addressed the protestors and said, "Mob lynching is against humanity. And mostly the minority communities are systematically targeted in this such hate crimes".
On this occasion, a memorandum addressing to President was handed over to AC Sajjid Mulla urging to interfere in centre and state affairs and take action against mob lynching.
On this occasion Tanzeem President, "SM Parvez, Atikurahaman Muneri, Altaf Karuri, Imtyaz Udyavar and others were present on dais.
