Thieves make away with gold worth Rs Three lac from a house in Shirali

Bhatkal 2 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal police on Monday registered a theft case reported at Shirali wherein the burglars broke into a house and made away with valuables worth 3 lac in the wee hours of September 30. According to the reports, the house belonging to Sudesh Umesh Mahale (30) was robbed off when the family was out of the house, as the burglars who noticed the absence of residents, broke in and made away with about 150 grams of gold worth Rs. 3 lac. As Sudesh was informed about the crime at his home, he rushed to the house and informed police about the incident who visited the spot and conducted initial investigations. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural police station and further investigations are underway. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
