Thieves in Bhatkal find innovative way to steal mobiles

July 01 2015 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Thieves in Bhatkal have found new innovative way to steal valuables from home. For the past 15 days, incidents of theft have been reported from several areas in Bhatkal wherein stealers are tying waste strip to a wooden stick, inserting it into the window, and then picking up the mobile using the strip and pulling it back. Fresh incidents took place at residences of Abdul Lateef Siddiqui and Jailana in Umer Street where burglars stole mobiles worth thousands of rupees. According to house owners, the theft was carried out between 3 pm and 3.30 pm by inserting sticks into the window. This case has been registered at Bhatkal Police Station. -ARF
