Bhatkal 5 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A Bhatkalli youngster, Siham Ali Akbara is till date the only man in Uttara Kannada district to complete his Ph.D on a research that was based on the statistics of Uttara Kannada district.
Dr. Siham completed his Ph.D from Jharkhand university during the year 2016-17 after intense research on 10 different business houses of the district and its growth rate and increment in sales.
Siham's topic for Ph.D was 'Empirical study on quality population as a dynamo for business, with special reference to Uttara Kannada district, strength and challenges'.
Siham credits his success to his father and his mentor Lahori sir, who motivated and guided him throughout his academical success.
He did his schooling from Naunihal Central School and is also product of Anjuman in both PU College for boys and later on Anjuman Science, Arts and Commerce college, Siham was also a recipient of prestigious Rabita award for his performance in PU 2 examinations before completing MBA from Srinivas Institute of Management studies Mangalore.
Bhatkallys.com met Siham for a formal interview at Bhatkallys.com office where he elaborated about his academics and his research.

Siham said he gained vast experience and idea about the educational reforms that are needed to improve current educational system, during a visit to London as a part of his study tour and realized the fact that educational backwardness in India is more to have to do with the methods of teaching here.
He also recommends that local educational organisations should stop teach old-school tricks of teaching and should take lessons from countries like UK, Singapore, Dubai etc and follow their educational advancements.
Siham added that Education has been his area of interest right from his academic days and feel that educations should evolve and more facilities are required in and around Bhatkal's educational institutions.
