Ter Habba celebrated with traditional fervour in Bhatal

Bhatkal: Bhatkal Chena Patna Hanumanth Temple's 'Rath' (Ter) was pulled in a huge gathering of Hindu brethren in a traditional fervour and peaceful manner. There were special arrangements for Pooja-Paat (worship) and in the evening it was pulled by devotees. Thousands of devotees had come here for seeing the Rath and its Pooja (worship).
This event designates historical Hindu-Muslim brotherhood and as usual today also for pulling the Rath, a group of Hindu brothers under the leadership of the eldest priest of the temple Surendra Shahnbhag had come to Chirkin Shabandari's house at Sultan Street.
On this occasion, Ansar Saheb Shabandari said that this festival that dates back to 200 years is an exemplary demonstration of Hindu-Muslim unity. On this occasion, he advised everyone to stay united with each other. Surendra Shahnbhag likewise expressed his thoughts on this occasion and mentioned that this festival is truly an example of Hindu-Muslim unity.
Ter left from Hanumanth temple and passed through Flower Market. It then went through Main Road, then Car Street, and then returned back to originating point where it terminated. During this procession, a large gathering of Hindu brothers were present.
On this occasion, paramilitary forces and local police forces jointly executed the responsibility of arranging security.
