Tempo overturns near Honavar; More than 20 injured

6th May 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: More than 20 persons were injured when a tempo carrying them overturned near Kodalmane (Manki). According to sources, around 25 passengers travelling in the tempo were returning back after attending a marriage ceremony at Badkor in Honavar when their tempo overturned because of imbalance and fell into a sinkhole. Out of the 20 injured, two are in critical condition and have been sent to Manipal, some have been sent to RNS hospital in Murudeshwar, some to Sri Devi hospital in Honavar and some were sent to the Government Hospital in Bhatkal. This case has been registered at Manki police station.
