Teacher's Day observed in Bhatkal

Bhatkal - 09 Sep 2011: 'Teachers are the one who shape student's future and guide them to achieve their final goals. They are the building blocks of Nation.' These were the views expressed by Bhatkal Tahsildar & Incharge AC, Mr Raju Moger. He was addressing the gathering on the occasion of Teacher's Day program organized jointly by Uttara Kannada Zilla Panchayat, Department of Education and Guru Vandana Samiti here at Ramanath Shanbhag Sabha Bhavan.

TMC President, Mr Inayatullah Shabandri said, 'Teacher's profession is sacred and they must be respected in the society.'

Anjuman General Secretary Mr Abdul Raheem Jukaku, Madhvi Bhandari, Bhatkal SBI Manager Mr Rajaram Bhat and Bhatkal Urban Bank Director Mr Sadullah Damda have also interacted with the audience.

On this occasion Bhatkal Urban Bank and Mr K V Prabhu felicitated Retired Teacher, Mr P J Fernandeze, Shrinivas Hebbar and Lalita P Naik for their outstanding contribution to the society.

ZP member Mr Albert, Savita Gonda, BEO Mr Devidas Moger, Primary Teachers Association President Mr Shankar Naik, High School Teachers Association President Mr Santosh Srishti, New English School Head Master Mr V J Naik, Food Inspector Sharada Naik, N G Gowda etc were present on the stage.

Zilla Panchayat member, Mr Jaishree Moger inaugurated the program while Mr B A C A R Bhat proposed vote of thanks.
