Tanzeem's annual program held

Bhatkal - 28 Nov 2011: Majlis Islah-o-Tanzeem conducted its biennial program on 27th November 2011 at 10:45 am here in Tanzeem Hall. The program commenced with the recitation of verses from holy Quran. Mr Zubair S M delivered welcome speech. Tanzeem General Secretary Mr S M Syed Parvez and Treasurer Mr Altaf Kharoori presented biennial activity report and budget respectively. The first part pf the program was concluded after brief Q & A session at 1:00 pm.

In the second session several amendments in by-laws were proposed and after having detailed discussion, they were passed. According to the new rule, membership age is fixed to 25 years & above and annual membership subscription is increased by Rs 50/-.

The program was presided over by Mr Parvez Kasimji. In his presidential address, he paid tributes to the ex-president of Tazeem, Mr Badrul Hasan Muallim. He also offered condolences to the family of Moulana Riyazur Rahman Rashadi, who passed away recently in Makkah Mukarramah while performing Hajj. Mr Kasimji announced the celebration of Tanzeem's Diamond Jubilee on completion of its 100 years in a grand way.

Mr S J Khalid delivered the vote of thanks as the program was concluded with the dua of Abdul Mateen Muniri. Around 100 members attended the program.
