Tanzeem takes action against conspirators; seven-year ban for accused in threat case against top officials

Bhatkal 12 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem on Thursday banned its members and barred them from getting membership, those who were found guilty of pressurizing Tanzeeem President Muzammil Kazia and Vice President Inayatullah Shabandri in post assembly election meet on May 12 this year.
A Disciplinary Committee was formed after the incident and its reports and findings were presented today in the Tanzeem executive meeting here. The committee had earlier sent show-cause notices to the members named and found responsible for the incident, after which a few members cleared their stand, a few apologized and a few did not bother to send in any reply to the notice.
In the executive meeting today, it was decided that the members who apologized shall be banned with immediate effect until the end of next term, while the rest of them shall be banned with immediate effect until the end of next two terms of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem.
The locals have welcomed the decision of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem and has lauded the bold stand it has taken against those trying to disrupt the operations of Tanzeem.
Reportedly both President and Vice-President had resigned after the incident which was later rejected by the executive meeting and a delegation had met both of them to convince them for withdrawing their resignations.
Both of the leaders agreed and has withdrawn their resignations after meeting the delegation and are now back into the office.
