Tanzeem organizes Jalsa on 'Islah Muashira'

Bhatkal - 04 Feb, 2011: Majlis-E-Islah-O-Tanzeem yesterday organized a grand 'Islah Muashira' program here at Anjuman School Grounds, Bhatkal. According to the organizers the objective of holding this progam was to introduce resolutions and guidelines which have been approved at the recently concluded Inter-Jamat Conference in Waynad, Calicut. The program was begun with the recitation of verses from holy Quran by Moulana Niyamatullah Askeri Nadvi. Later Mr D. H. Shabbar, Vice President, Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen while delivering the inaugural speech recalled the historical event which took place in 1912, that was the formation of Majlis-e-Islah-O-Tanzeem. The Tanzeem was formed with a sole intention to make social reforms in the society. He said that, later under the guidance of Tanzeem, four times Inter-Jamat conferences were held in which social, political, economical and educational problems faced by the community were discussed and Tanzeem has also tried its level best to solve those problems. Mr Shabbar while briefing about the program said, 'Today's program is organized to introduce the proposals approved and steps taken in the recently concluded 4th Inter-Jamat Conference in Calicut to the people of Bhatkal'.
Later Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi pronounced the resolutions and guidelines in front of the audience and requested them to follow those guidelines. He also warned people against evils and immoral activities which are common in the society. Later President of the program, Mr Badrul Hasan Muallim and Mr S J Syed Hashim also interacted with the audience and advised them to eliminated evils from the society. The program was concluded with the dua of Moulana Mulla Mohammed Iqbal Nadvi at around 6:30 am. Moulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi delivered vote of thanks.
