Tanzeem organizes awareness session on govt schemes for minorities

August 03, 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Bhatkal's socio-politicial organization Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem organized a district-level awareness session in association with CRDDP (Centre for Research and Debates in Development) for minorities on various developmental schemes provided by state and central government for the benefit of minorities. The program which was organized in AITM's seminar hall saw participation from heads of various organizations, members of Tanzeem, representatives from various Muslim organizations in Uttar Kannada and Bhatkal taluka. On this occasion, CRDDP's General Secretary Ataullaah Shareef presented details of minorities as well as various developmental schemes launched by state and central government for the benefit of minorities using Audio-Visual arrangement. Speaking at the occasion, the organization's President Dr Abu Saleh Shareef adviced Muslims to not go behind reservations but instead march ahead in the field of education and utilize their skills and potentials to their advantage. The program ended at 1.30 pm followed by luncheon for all the attendees. -ARF
