Tanzeem members submit memo to AC against Kamlesh Tiwari's blasphemy of Prophet (PBUH)

December 14, 2015 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A delegation consisting of members of Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem met the Assistant Commissioner of Bhatkal today and handed over to him a memorandum protesting against alleged defamatory statement made by Kamlesh Tiwari, working president of the Hindu Mahasabha of Uttar Pradesh, against Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). The memorandum was given to him today as the AC was not present during the protest called by Tanzeem on Friday December 11, 2015 ago at Taluka Stadium in Nawayat Colony in which close to 10,000 agitated Muslims participated. The memorandum has urged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to take stringent action against Kamlesh Tiwari, working president of the All India Hindu Mahasabha for his alleged blasphemy of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). On this occasion, Tanzeem's General Secretary Altaf Kharoori expressed regret on denial of permission from authorities to hold a protest. Tanzeem has always cooperated with the authorities but this step from the authorities has deeply hurt them, he told to AC. The members also expressed greivance that many cases were slapped against Tanzeem for carrying out the protest but no case was registered when the National Highway was blocked by some people for 30 mins. - ARF
