Tanzeem delegation calls for justice in Delhi rape case; presents memorandum

Bhatkal: Bhatkal's leading socio-political organisation has called for swift justice and action against perpetrators of alleged rape and murder of Rabia Saifi, a 21-year-old female civil defense officer, working with a district magistrate in Delhi.
A memorandum was handed over to Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, through Mamata Devi, Bhatkal AC.
Abdul Raqib MJ, General Secretary, Majlis-e-Islah-o-Tanzeem, termed the entire episode as brutally inhumane and raised questions on woman safety in India. He also called on national leaders to take notice of the matter and push for a high-level probe.

Inayatullah Shabandri also expressed his views and condemned the incident and demanded severe punishment for the culprits. Advocate Imran Lanka read out the memorandum.
