Taking a bath dip in river costs life for 24 year-old youngster in Manki

Manki 7 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A 24-year-old man drowned into the Sharavati river allegedly while taking bath here into the waters at Idugunji near Manki. The deceased has been identified as Hanumantha Laxmana Gurunnavar, a resident of Haveri. According to the sources, Hanumantha had migrated to Honnavar from Haveri in search of job. On Saturday morning around 7:30 am while taking a bath at Sharavati river he slipped into the waters and drowned. Police personnel later recovered the body and shifted it to the Government hospital for post mortem. A case has been registered at Manki police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
