Syed Khalil donates Rs 5 Lakh to Sneha School

Bhatkal – 27 Dec 2012: Bhatkali community leader and philanthropist, Mr Syed Khalil Rahman announced Rs 5 lakh for Sneha School and training center which is actively working for the welfare of disabled and special students. As a part of this donation, the School will receive Rs 1 lakh every year for the span of 5 years. Speaking at a function held at Sneha school, he congratulated the teachers for their services. He said that the role of teachers becomes very critical in these kind of Schools as lot of patience is needed to teach and handle mentally challenged and special students. A felicitation program for two students who participated in the National level sports meet was also held. On this occasion Bhatkal ASP Mr Sudhir Kumar Reddy, Rotary Club President Mr Sadullah Damda, Top Emergency Helping Association President Mr Nisar Ruknuddin and Mr Surendra Shanbhag have also interacted with the gathering and encouraged the teachers for their services.
