Sunil Naik chairs his first KDP meeting, Encroached land, facilities at Government hospital among main agenda

Bhatkal 21 June 2018: The first KDP (Karnataka development program) meeting of Bhatkal Taluka chaired by newly elected MLA of Bhatkal-Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik was held at Taluk Panchayat hall of Bhatkal here on Thursday 21 June.
During the meet, among the main agendas MLA Sunil Naik Discussed about the several problems faced by patients in government hospital and said necessary steps will be taken very soon to make it more convenient and friendly to the people.
Talking about the agricultural progress of the Taluk, Sunil Naik instructed the Agricultural Department to concentrate more on rural side than urban areas, and thus the farmers of rural areas can get be encouraged to produce more products.
Sunil Naik also questioned KSRTC dippo manager about the delay in arrivals of the buses that commute between Bhatkal and Honnavar because of which students fail to attend the classes on time, he later warned them and urged them to take note of this issue.
Talking about the encroached land issue, Sunil Naik while speaking to concerned department said "I have no questions with newly built houses on encroachment land by the people, but people who are residing for a long time on the encroached land, has to be given permission at least to repair their houses due to damages by the rain."
Congress leader and Taluk Panchayat President Eshwar Naik, Vice President Radha Vaidya, Meenakshi Jattapa Naik and other Congress party members gave the meetin a miss, an irked Sunil Naik said he will not see through any such behavior in next meetings and urged the members to be present in the meeting compulsorily.
On this occasion a handicapped student was give a free laptop by Sunil Naik on behalf of Department Of Welfare Of Disabled & Senior Citizen.
