Summer Classes at Al Kowser Girls College Inaugurated

Bhatkal - 06 April 2012: Inauguration ceremony for Summer Classes was held here at the Conference Hall of Al Kowser Girls College yesterday.

The program was started with the recitation of holy Quran. Moulana Yasir Nadvi presented the welcome note and highlighted the importance of conducting this Summer course. He said that the main objective of starting this course is to deliver Quran and Hadith education to girl students and apart from this we are also training them to master some household skills which may be useful in day to day life.

Chief Guest of this fuction, Moulana Iqbal Naitey Nadvi while delivering a keynote address, highlighted the importance of Islamic education. He said all animals and birds fulfill their bodily needs but the human beings are not only limited to fulfill their bodily needs but they are also responsible for Allah's worship (Ibadah) which distinguishes them from animals. By doing Ibadah our soul gets food. He also advised to correct one's intentions (Niyyah).

In the end, Secretary Al Kowser Girls College, Ms Nabeera presented the details of Summer Course. Large number of women participated in this program.
