Students of Jamia Islamia organized a program on 'Seerat-un-Nabi'

Bhatkal - Students of Jamia Islamia under the banner of 'Al-Lajnatul Arabia', a cultural organization of Jamia students conducted a Jalsa on 'Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW)' here at Tanzeem grounds, Nawayath colony, Bhatkal. The program was commenced with the recitation of verses from holy Qur'an at 9:15 pm. Later students demonstrated their extraordinary skills in speech presentation in different languages including Arabic, Urdu, Naity, Hindi and Kannada and highlighted the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In between the program, Naity dialogues and conversations were also presented highlighting the social evils which are making roots in the society like TV Serials, Co-education, Mobile phones etc.
Nazim Jamia, Master Mohammed Shafi while interacting with the audience said, 'We need your support to achieve Jamia's goals of spreading Islamic education and way of life, and the best way is to put your children in Jamia.'
Later Moulana Abdul Aleem Qasimi, Editor Naqsh-e-Nawayath and Moulana Mulla Mohammed Iqbal Nadvi, Qazi Jamatul Muslimeen also addressed the gathering.
On this occasion prizes were distributed among students who stood first in their category in a recently concluded speech competition held in Jamia.
The program was concluded at 11:30 pm with the dua of Moulana Khaleelur Rahman Muniri, Assistant Nazim, Jamia Islamia. Mr Fawwaz delivered the thanksgiving speech.
