Student injured in road accident

Bhatkal - 10 August 2011: Student belonging to Anjuman Engineering College, Mohammed Arfat s/o. Moulana Ashraf Muallim was severely injured in a road accident near TFC Hotel. According to the sources, the accident took place at 8:30 am when an Auto rickshaw coming from Nagappa Naik road rammed into his bike. He was immediately rushed to Bhatkal Govt Hospital and later to Mangalore for further treatment. According to the Hospital sources, he has received severe head injuries and is in a state of unconsciousness. However he is out of danger.
