Student commits suicide at RNS Polytechnic hostel

Bhatkal - 30 March 2011: A student commited suicide by hanging to the ceiling of his hostel room here at RNS Rural Polytechnic Murdeshwar. According to the sources, a 22 year old student, Ganesh Gangadhar was from Honekere village of Ankola taluk and he was belonging to Computer Science department of RNS Polytechnic. The reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered at Murdeshwar Police station and the investigation is going on.
