Stop for Mangalore Express in Bhatkal demanded

Bhatkal - 07 Dec 2011: Members of Bhatkal Taluka Congress Samiti demanded stoppage of Mumbai bound Mangalore Express train here in Bhatkal. A memorandum was also submitted to Railway Minister, Mr K H Muniappa through Bhatkal Station Master. As per the memorandum, train number 12134/12135 CSTM-Mangalore Express do not have stoppage at Bhatkal railway station, due to this, many Bhatkalli passengers coming from Mumbai are facing many problems. The President of Bhatkal Block Congress Samiti, Mr Vittal Naik and Congress leader Mr Abdul Raheem have warned against Rail Roko stir if their demand were not accepted. They also requested support from local organization.
