State-wide vaccination drive for children in 15-18 year age group from Jan 3

Bengaluru, Dec 30: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has asked all district in-charge ministers and Deputy Commissioners of districts to coordinate for the launch of the Covid 19 vaccination drive for children in the age group of 15 to 18 years throughout Karnataka from January 3. In a communication to all Deputy Commissioners of districts and District in-charge ministers, the Chief Minister informed that the State Government has decided to launch the State-wide drive for vaccination of children in the age group of 15 to 18 years from January 3 as per the advice of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (NTAGI) of the Government of India. Bommai has pointed out that Karnataka has already administered the first dose of vaccination to 4.79 crore people or 97% and another second dose to 3.78 crore people or 77% so far.
