State-level fest organized by Anjuman concludes, KLE Hubli emerges as champion

Febuary 09, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A one-day state-level fest titled “Vision 16″on the theme of Business and Investment organized by Anjuman Degree College and PG Centre concluded Monday evening. Hubli's KLE Degree College emerged as champion of the fest while Nehru Degree College stood at second position. Both the teams were awarded cash prizes and trophies. On this occasion, Syed Khaleelur Rehman and Abdul Rehman Siddiqui were present as judges in the final competition giving youngsters a lot of guidance and inspiration. Students from across the state who participated in the fest gave positive feedback and termed residents of Bhatkal as peace loving. "We heard many fallacious news about Bhatkal but after interacting with the people of Bhatkal we found them very different", students said. Rajiv Gandhi Medical University (Bangalore)'s Syndicate member Dr UT Iftekhar Ali participated as Chief Guest of the function. On this occasion, he advised the members of Anjuman to open a Medical College for which he assured full cooperation from his side. The fest ended Monday evening at 10 pm. - ARF
