State Bank of Mysore opens branch in Bhatkal

1 Sep 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A new branch of State Bank of Mysore (SBM) was inaugurated on Friday by Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner, VRP Manohar in Bhatkal, near Eidgah Road. Expressing his thoughts on the occasion of the launch, he said that this bank is one of the famous banks in the state and has been inaugurated in Bhatkal as a need was felt for it. He expressed hopes that administrators of this bank will work towards the progress of the state. He requested the bank administrators to provide abundant loans to labourers and lower-class people to improve their economic stability. Speaking on the occasion of the launch, State Bank of Mysore's Sailesh Naik gave details about the facilities that will be provided by the bank and also mentioned about the facilities that will be provided to the NRIs. Apart from them, Bhatkal Education Officer Devidas Moger, Seva Vahini President Surinder Shahnbhag and others were present on the occasion.
