Starkey Foundation donates hearing aids for deaf

11th May 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Today in Government Hospital Bhatkal, Starkey Hearing Foundation with cooperation from the Police Department, Rabita Society Bhatkal, and other entities organized a camp and donated hearing aids for born deaf. On this occasion, Akhil Chauhan (Regional Manager - Starkey Hearing Foundation) addressed the press reporters and said that prior to this a detection camp was organized on 9th February 2013 and 64 children diagnosed that time have been given the hearing aids now. According to them, 65,000 machines have been distributed to children throughout India. He praised ASP Sudheer Reddy and mentioned that he only was behind the organization of this camp. Dr Arshad, Dr Rabey Nudrat, Dr Sai Kiran, Dr Sai Prakash, etc executed the required services.
