SSLC Results Announced - Udupi District Tops - Girls Excel, as Usual

Bhatkal, May 17: The results of 2012 SSLC examinations are now out. Higher education minister Vishveshwar Kageri announced the results in Bangalore on Thursday May 17.

The state has registered 76.13 percent success. Udupi district has bagged first place in the state, followed by Sirsi, with Hassan district in third place and Bidar coming last.

Like in the past, girls gained the upper hand in the result tally. Over 81.16% girls and 71.73% boys who appeared for the exam have been successful. This year the results have improved by 2.22% when compared to the last year's results. The supplementary exams will be held on June 18.

Unfortunately, 47 schools in the state have registered zero percent result.

A student who scored 623 out of 625 has bagged the top place in the state.
