SSLC Results 2011: Overview of Bhatkal taluk

Bhatkal - 14 May 2011: Bhatkal taluk recorded overall pass percentage of 85.94 in this years SSLC examinations which was held in March'11. Total 2412 students have appeared for SSLC examinations this year from 29 high schools. Out of 2412 students, 2073 successfully passed their examinations wherein 159 secured distinction, 849 first class, 505 second class, 567 third class and 336 failed. Girls outclass boys with a narrow margin. The boys recorded overall pass percentage of 83.19 while the girls secured 88.16 pc.
Chitra Ganesh Ternamakki from Vishwa Bharati High School, Bengre topped the taluk with 97.92 pc. It may be noted that, no student from Muslim run High Schools made into toppers (top 10) list.
