SSLC exams from 1st April 2011

Bhatkal - 12 March 2011: Only 3 weeks remaining for the commencement of SSLC examinations in Karnataka. This is the second time exams will be conducted after the Question paper model was changed last year. Around 8,73,154 students are expected to attend this years SSLC exams scheduled to be held from 1st April to 13 April 2011. Karnataka Secondary Examination Board has completed all arrangements for the smooth conduct of examinations and hall tickets have been dispatched. According to the sources, due to more number of students attending exams compared to last year, 56 more examination centers have been added to 2,952 existing centers. It may be noted that, in the year 2010 the question paper model was changed and number of objective type questions were reduced and descriptive type of questions were increased which affected last year's results considerably.
