SSLC examination begins, 2045 students to appear from Bhatkal

Bhatkal 23 March 2018: The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations in Karnataka began on Friday March 23. Over Eight lac students from across the state are to appear in the exams which will go on till April 6.
According to Bhatkal Block Education Officer (BEO) M.R Munji, 987 boys and 1088 girls will appear for the examinations from Bhatkal, across 09 centres. The students began their examinations with their respective first language subjects as the first paper and while Social Science will be the last paper for the students on April 6.
In a bid to make sure the smooth functioning of the examinations 09 Question Papers Guards, 153 Supervisors, 09 chief superintendents, 09 Scouts, and 09 Taluka Supervisors will be deputed throughout the examinations' course in the Bhatkal Taluka. Add to this the CCTV cameras will also monitor each examination blocks to avoid cases of malpractice during the examination.
While issuing general instructions to the students taking the examinations the BEO, had earlier asked students to refrain from carrying Cellphones, Calculators and other gadgets, and to compulsorily carry their respective hall ticket to their examination centres.
The Nine examination centres in Bhatkal Taluk include, New English School, Islamia Anglo Urdu High School, Govt High School Sonarkeri, Anjuman Girls High School, Janata Vidyalaya Murdeshwar, Janata Vidyalaya Shirali, Beena Vaidya High School Bailur, National High School Murdeshwar and Govt High School Belekere.
