SSF will organize statewide campaign against terrorism: Abdul Rehman Rizvi

Febuary 11, 2016 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In view of rising terrorism in the nation, Sunni Students' Federation (SSF) will initiate a statewide campaign against terrorism titled “Jihad against terrorism”, said K.A. Abdurrahman Rizvi Kalkatta, Vice President of State unit of SSF addressing media persons at a press conference held at a private hotel in Bhatkal. Terrorists have no religion and its the responsibility of every citizen to foil their plans and conspiracies, he added. Denouncing the acts of ISIS he said Islam doesn't permit killing of innocent civilians. SSF will organize campaigns and seminars among youth as legal action alone isn't sufficient to curb terrorism, he opined. The Sunni Students' Federation (SSF) is an Islamic student organisation based in South India. Membership is highest in the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu andPondicherry. It is affiliated to Samastha Kerala Sunni Jamiyyathul Ulama, led by Kanthapuram A. P. Aboobacker Musalyar. - ARF
