Souban bagged first prize in State Level ‘Javelin Throw’ competition

Bhatkal: Mohammed Souban, a student of New English High School, Murudeshwar, a town in Bhatkal Taluk, bagged a first prize in ‘Javelin Throw’ event in the State Level athletic competition for high schools organized by Department of Public Instruction, Karnataka, at Mangala Stadium, Mangalore, from November 30 to December 1.                                                     Souban threw a distance of 48 meters to win the competition. Members of ‘Muslim Educational Society’ and teachers of New English High School Murdershwar congratulated him and his coach Mohammed Shafeeq. They expected that he will also take part in the National Level competition.
