SM Amjad files nomination from JD(s) party for Bhatkal-Honnavar constituency; Shiv Sena and MEP candidates also file nomination

Bhatkal 24 April 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) SM Amjad, a local councilor of Bhatkal Town Muncipal Council on Tuesday filed his nomination papers from Janata Dal (s) party for the upcoming assembly elections from Bhatkal-Honnavar constituency. In the affidavit presented during the filing of his nomination at the Assistant Commissioner's office, Amjad declared his assets of worth Rs. 10,07,700/- while his spouse's asset stood at Rs. 6,09,000/- making it a total asset of Rs. 16,16,700/-, he also declared his total liabilities of Rs. 2,00,000/-. Amjad is a resident of Siddique street and is a councilor of the ward in TMC. Among others who filed nomination paper on the last day were Mahila Empowerment Party (MEP) candidate Gafoor Sab of Honnavar, Shiv Sena candidate Jayant Naik, Prakash Pinto (Independent), and Abdul Rahiman (Independent).
