Siyam Ruknuddin to play for Karnataka Under-15 Kabaddi team

Zaorez Shabab Bhatkal 04 Nov 2017: Siyam Ruknuddin of Bhatkal is all set to feature in the Karnataka u-15 Kabbadi team that will play at the National level championship at Jharkhand beginning 04 Nov 2017. Siyam is the first player of Bhatkal to make it to the 12-man squad of Karnataka Kabbadi team. Siyam who is a brilliant raider, plays for Royal Sports club in Bhatkal is also a 9^th Grade student at Green Valley National School (GVNS) and had his foot set in the courts of Kabbadi right from his childhood. Siyam appeared for the state level selections along with 300 other players from across the state of which initially 40 players were shortlisted and later only 12 best players made the cut to the squad including Siyam. Siyam had earlier represented Bhatkal Taluka teams and Uttara Kannada district team before getting himself into the state team. The National level tournament which will be played at Jharkand will be played from 4^th Nov to 7^th Nov 2017. BMYF President Imtiyaz Udyawar, Bhatkal Kabbadi Federation President Sadiq Matta and Gen. Secy. Shridhar Naik all had played important role in grooming the young lad, and in giving him the platform to make a name for himself. According to his local teammates, apart from these three they added, his father too had played a very important role in encouraging Siyam in taking up Kabbadi. Notably, two youngsters will be representing their teams at two different games at the National level. While Siyam will play Kabbadi at Jharkahand another young lad Diyab will represent UAE CBSE team at the National level Football tournament at Noida.
