Six Anjuman primary schools organise pre-centenary celebrations programs

Bhatkal December 15 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) As Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen is heading towards it's centenary year, and as it prepare for the year-long centenary celebrations beginning January 2019, several institutions of Anjuman are organising events and competitions as a part of pre-centenary celebrations. On December 10, six primary schools run by Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, (Anjuman Urdu primary school, Anjuman English medium higher primary school, Anjuman Noor primary school, Anjuman Azad primary school, Anjuman Takiya primary school and Anjuman Al-Fitrah Islamic pre-school) came together and organised three days pre-centenary programs at Anjuman College for Women here. Students from about 15 primary schools of Bhatkal participated in the inter-school competitions including Deeniyath inter-school competition, which included Qirath Competition, pick and speak competition, Memory test competition on December 10. Khadija Yumna D/O Mohammed Ashfaque Nilawar (Ali –public school), and Zainab D/O Abdul rehman (Islahul Banath school), Maryam D/O Abdul Razzak (Anjuman Takiya primary school) bagged first and second place respectively while Abdul Hannan S/O Mohammed Hafeez Askeri (Anjuman Noor primary school) and Hafsa D/O Abdul waris Alasari (Naunihal central school) shared third place in Qirath competition. Khairunnisa Haneen D/O Faiyaz Ahmed Jushaddi(Anjuman English Medium Higher Primary School), Aysha D/O Abdul Azeem Lanka (Anjuman Takiya Primary School) and Umama D/O Mohammed Nayeete(Islahul Banath School) bagged first, second and third place respectively. Khairunnisa Firdouse D/O S .M Sultan (Anjuman English Medium Higher Primary School), Mohammed Unais S/O Mohiddin sultan siddiqua (New Shams School) bagged first and second place in Memory test competition while Eifa D/O K Sayed Ibrahim (Anjuman Noor Primary School) and Naseefa D/O Nasir Ahmed Komars Koppa (Anjuman Urdu Primary school) shared third place in the competition. On December 11, parents day was organised wherein parents of Anjuman primary students participated in various events and competitions including Qirath competition, Nawayath song competition, Motivational talk competition among others. In Qirath competition Fathima Ifath D/O Hifzurrehman Kharuri bagged first place, Shahida W/O Mohammed Nayeem Sukri secured second place while Sana D/O Mohammed Meeran Sada bagged third place. Nayeela W/O Mazhar Anwar, Rubeena W/O Mohammed Khaleel Ruknuddin and Nazima D/O Mohammed Sayeed Mananwadi bagged first, second and third place respectively in Nawayath song competition. Zainab Tamanna D/O Mohammed siraj Damudi, Sushmat Banu W/O Nasir M.H secured first and second place respectively in Motivational talk while Azeema D/O Zafar Ali Muallim and Hashmat D/o Hassan Siddibapa shared third spot. "Parents involvement in a child’s education is crucial. When parents get involved in their children’s education and school activities, children are more likely to do better in school, be better behaved, have more positive attitudes toward our school and grow up to be more successful in life" added a press release issued by the school authorities while encouraging the parents' participation. On December 12, all the six schools celebrated its annual day celebrations wherein students of all schools presented several skits and programs promoting and blend of our culture, moral education, and nationalism. The event concluded with vote of thanks by Miss .Shayina Mohammed Rafik of AEMHPS followed Dua by Miss. Heena Mohtesham of AEMHPS. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com Shehnaz Jukaku, Head Mistress, Anjuman English Medium Higher Primary School and Al Fitrah Islamic Pre-School added "The celebration proved to be a platform for the parents and students to come together and show their inherent talents, The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervor". Event convener Seema Kashimji along with other members of the Anjuman's ladies advisory committee were present during the event.
