SIO Summer Camp closing ceremony

Bhatkal: SIO's Summer Camp that started ten days back at Dawat Center concluded today. A closing ceremony was organized today morning at Dawat Center which began with Quran recitation by Syed Ahmed Karikal. Thereafter, Syed Umar Aseem S J presented hamd-o-sana.

Maulvi Zia-ur-Rehman Nadvi presented the welcome speech and said that this program was organized by SIO for students from Std 8th to Std 12th. Lecturers showed a lot of interest and students too grasped the concepts very well.

Nazim of Tarbiyat Ikhwan Janab Abdul Qadir Badshah Ruknuddin said that when Prophet Muhammed (Peace and mercy of Allaah be upon him) was born, Abdul Lahab on this excitement gifted his ring to the person who brought this news but he was never interested with works of the Prophet (Peace and mercy of Allaah be upon him) and for this reason Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala) revealed a verse in the Quran about Abu Lahab's destruction. He said that Quran is the easiest book in the world and this fact is itself proclaimed by Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala) in the Quran. Hence, we should try to read the Quran with understanding.

President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Janab Qadir Meeran Patel Saheb requested the students to note down every good thing that you read and hear. Also, you should keep a habit of buying good books and reading them.

Apart from them, Janab Nauman Ali Akbara Saheb and other people expressed their thoughts on this occasion. Students who participated in this program also provided their feedback in which Azizi Nazeef Shakeel Manegar and Ahmed Husain Nuhail Damudi gave their feedback. Program closed with thank-you words and announcement by Maulvi Aoun Ruknuddin.
