Siddapur 22 March 2018: In the world full of miracles and surprises the locals of Koppa village in Siddapur Taluka witnessed a new born calf with two heads that was reportedly born on Tuesday night.

The buffalo belonging to Ganapati Chowda Naik of Koppa delievered a male calf on Tuesday night, which attracted all the locals to Ganapati's house to see this wonder. But unfortunately the calf breathed its last on the next day.

The calf had two conjoined heads, four eyes, two ears and two mouths. The calf suffered from diprosopus or craniofacial duplication, resulting in shared features. It is rare for such creatures to survive more than a few hours after birth because their internal organs are often deformed.

However, Assistant Director of Taluk Animal Husbandry Department Dr. Nandankumar Pai told that the mother of the calf is in healthy state.
