Shivamogga: Angry lecturer bites student for cheating during examination

Shivamogga: A verbal argument between a student and a lecturer over copying during an examination took an ugly turn when the angry lecturer reportedly bit the hand of the student resulting in an injury to the student. The incident was reported from Hosanagar on Friday at the First Grade College during BA Examination. According to the reports, the lecturer alleged that the victim student was copying and got into a verbal argument and seized the student’s mobile phone using which, the student was allegedly cheating in the examination. The argument soon escalated and the irked lecturer reportedly bit the student on the hand resulting in an injury. A complaint and a counter-complaint in this regard were filed at the local police station, however, later the student withdrew the complaint as both the parties reached a compromise agreement.
