Shiroor: Prominent Businessman and social worker Abdul Qadir Bashu passes away

Bhatkallys News Bureau Shiroor 25 July 2017: Prominent businessman and Managing trustee of Green Valley National School (GVNS) Abdul Qadir Bashu (54) passed away on Tuesday following a heart attack in Mangaluru. According to sources, Abdul Qadir Bashu had recently arranged a wedding ceremony on his daughter in Mangaluru and was staying at a hotel. His contribution and services in the development of Shiroor over the last two decades have earned him great respect and a special place in the hearts of the local community. Bashu played an active role in the development of Shiroor and contributed in academic development, political engagement and infrastructure development. Local businesses and shops remained close for a day as a mark of respect to remember Bashu's significant contributions.
