Shirali residents blame IRB for water logging on NH 66 during heavy rains

Shirali 13 June 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) As the rain battered across the Taluka throughout the day, National Highway-66 at Shirali got flooded due to incomplete drainage construction, disrupting the moment of traffic here on Wednesday. As the town witnessing heavy rainfall, several electric polls and trees in the vicinity were damaged and uprooted. Moreover certain places of Taluka got flooded causing inconvenience to the people. The NH-66 at Shirali also was also flooded due to incomplete work in the construction of drainage near the NH-66 causing disturbance in the moment of traffic. The locals however, blamed the IRB contractors for delay in their construction work. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
