Shirali: Over-speeding bike rams into another bike, One injured

Shirali 08 April 2018: A person on Friday was injured near Tattihakkal ground of Shirali-Alivikodi road here as a result of a person riding his bike recklessly and at over-speed.
The victim has been identified as Mohammed Hanif Sheikh (62) a resident of Bhatkal while the accused biker has been identified as Ravindra Devadiga, resident of Shirali of Bhatkal.
The accident took place when Ravindra on his Honda shine bike was heading towards Alvikodi from Shirali at a high speed, and rammed into another bike of Mohd Hanif who was on his way to Shirali from Alvikodi. Hanif was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Udupi after sustaining severe injuries on his body.
A case has been registered at Bhatkal rural Police station.
