Sharjah RTA honoured cabbie for returning bag of 1.7 million aed

The Roads and Transport Authority in Sharjah has honored a Pakistani driver, identified as Nasibullah Sher Dawala, after he returned a bag containing Dh1.7 million in cash, along with important papers. The money was forgotten by a Korean businessman coming to the UAE via Sharjah International Airport, reported Al Bayan newspaper. Meanwhile, Abdul-Aziz Al Jarwan Director of Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority for Transportation praised the honesty of the driver and commended him for his good behaviour. He added the RTA immediately contacted the Sharjah police at airport, which helped in returning the lost item to its owner within hours. GulfNews
