Shams School organizes IT quiz competition

Bhatkal: A taluka level IT quiz competition was organized by Shams English Medium School on Thursday. The quiz programme began at 10.15 am with Quran recitation by Mohammed Aqib. Thereafter, the programme's convenor Abrar-ul-Haque Khatibi presented the introductory speech and initiated the first written round of the competition.
In all, 12 teams of the taluka participated in the competition, out of which 5 teams qualified for the final round. In this competition, SriVali High School of Shirali Chitrapur stood first and became the champions, and Vidya Bharti school came second. They were awarded certificates and cash along with the trophy. Shams English Medium School, Anjuman Girls High School, and Anjuman Boys High School were runners-up.
On this occasion, Syed Ashraf Barmawar, Mr Talha, and Principal Professor Syed Hashim Zarzari expressed their thoughts. The programme ended with parting words by school teacher Ismail Ghassan Chamundi.
