Shams English Medium School holds 38th Annual Sports Meet

Bhatkal - Shams English Medium High School held its 38th Annual Sports Meet here at Syed Ali Campus located off Jamia Abad Road, Bhatkal. The program was started at around 10:30 am with the recitation of holy Quran followed by Tarana of Shams School. Later, TMC President Mr Inayatullah Shabandri formally inaugurated the event. Speaking on the occasion Mr Inayatullah said, 'Sports is an important part of overall growth of student. Apart from their studies, students should actively participate in sports and other curricular activities and show their hidden talents.'

On this occasion School Principal Mr Mohammed Sahfi Shaikh, Mr Ashraf Barmavar, Dr Haneef Shabab, Mr Syed Hassan Barmavar, Moulvi Azeezur Rahman Ruknuddin were present on the stage.

Soon after the opening ceremony, game was declared open and several events were kicked off wherein students competed with each other for medals. Each event winners were awarded with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
